The second Hard Rock Cafe opened in 1992, situated in the Newport Fashion Island mall of Orange County. An iconic 40-foot tall neon-blue Fender electric guitar stands outside, illuminating the night sky. Inside, a 1959 wood-paneled Cadillac convertible is filled with surfboards and sits atop the central bar. This cafe may not be quite as rowdy as its Hollywood counterpart, however, the night atmosphere can still prove quite loud.
